My thoughts exactly. The F-bodies are all creeping up into this price range, the G-bodies have already passed this price range, and hell, even the rarer K-cars are starting to get into this pricing territory.

I’d venture to say it’s legitimately a nice price.

I wouldn't say stratospheric CP. I think on its worst day it's a $5,000 car. But then again I don't know these specifically, just based on context of 80's + Japanese + Sport Coupe + good condition.

Maybe, I’m not sure. I think they’ve all interbred with the local bees for the most part. I don’t really know, tho. They were a problem, for sure, but there was a LOT of hype too.

My concern is these giant fucking hornets and the myriad assortment of wasps.

I agree. I think he could ask $8k and that would be reasonable considering the condition. But $9k just seems too high. Maybe in a couple years, yes. In a decade, ask $12k. But yeah, $9k seems high.
